Updated: Jun 18, 2021

In the age of social media marketing and influencers, it’s not uncommon to see celebs or popular athletes being endorsed by world famous brands. In Singapore, some of our local stars have also caught the eye of big labels with the likes of Puma, Adidas and Under Armour.

We bring you these 5 male public figures who are currently endorsed by fitness brands, accompanied by pictures (of course) for your viewing pleasure.

1. Lim Yao Xiang – SportsSG

The former Team Singapore swimmer and water polo athlete has an impressive portfolio – not only is Lim Yao Xiang a SportsSG ambassador and multiple SEA Games Gold medallist, he is also a successful business owner. The 38-year-old has since retired from competitive sport and is focusing on his fitness lifestyle company The Fitness Project which offers HydroFit workouts and exercises done atop floating boards in pools.

2. Noriff Danial Ashriq – Adidas

Back in 2004, Noriff Danial Ashriq was a well-known child star and made his TV debut at just 13 years old. Some of his notable roles include those in Mediacorp’s Police and Thief and Kin. Besides acting, he also showcases an active lifestyle on Instagram, so it’s no surprise when Adidas invited him to become their Adidas Creator Brand Ambassador. Seeing his stylish photos in Adidas sportswear makes us want to hop in on the fitspo train too!

3. Allan Wu – Under Armour

Allan Wu is a familiar name in the entertainment scene, and he’s best known for being the host of reality game show The Amazing Race. Aside from hosting, the actor-model also boasts an impressive physique – and Under Armour must’ve felt that way too since they engaged him to become their brand ambassador. Wu also hosted the 2014 grand opening of Under Armour’s first retail store in Singapore at the Orchard Gateway Mall.

Most recently, Wu has appeared on several Under Armour online workout videos on the brand’s Facebook and YouTube. You can check out the workout videos here!

4. Tosh Zhang – Puma

If you’ve walked into a Puma store recently, you would’ve seen the face of Singaporean rapper Tosh Zhang gracing the store walls. The Ah Boys to Men star recently took on the role as Puma’s brand ambassador in Southeast Asia alongside Maya, Southeast Asia’ first ever virtual influencer. Sporting the Future Rider kicks, the duo look incredibly cool in Puma’s futuristic visuals – we’re sure even Sergeant Ong would approve 100%.

5. Joseph Schooling – Yakult

The famous national swimmer is no stranger to sponsorships, and his most recent endorsement involves a partnership with Yakult where he was featured in the brand’s Billions Strong campaign. Joseph Schooling shared the spotlight with his parents – who were also featured in the campaign – in a film that aired on TV showcasing his journey as a national swimmer – all of course with Yakult by his side.
